Before beginning my NMIX journey, I didn’t much about coding or developing, but I knew I wanted to learn.
Although I was excited to learn something new, I was nervous for this to be my first course of the program. I soon realized I was able to follow along with the readings and to practice the skills using Free Code Camp.
During this course, I learned the basics of HTML coding and how to design it using a CSS stylesheet. I learned the convenience of Bootstrap. I revisited WordPress, which is something I haven’t used since my undergraduate year. While JavaScript was the toughest unit for me, I learned how to make basic code stand out. I even had the opportunity to develop an idea I’ve had since I graduated with my undergraduate degree. I’m so excited for what’s next.
