Reflection

Panel One

After gaining experience with Project One, I felt more confident with the completion of Project Two. Bootstrap helped make coding Panel One easy with so many component options. My biggest struggle with Panel One was finding a topic and choosing a layout. With so many options in Bootstrap, my goal was to make my panel neat and interesting enough to reflect the content of my topic.

Panel Two

Working on Panel Two was less difficult than Panel One. After choosing a template, my main goal was figuring out how to incorporate the content from Panel One into the template for Panel Two. I chose a template that had a different layout than the one I created in Panel One. I'd say one of my biggest struggles was remembering not to edit the CSS for this panel because we've done it for every file within this course. However, it was interesting seeing the difference from Panel One to Panel Two.

Panel Three

Panel Three was where I was able to have fun again, and I finally got to change the design of Panel Two to make it my own. I instantly knew I wanted to use the same font families that I used in Panel One. I ran into an issue with the color change of the masthead. After inspecting and looking at the code for the original template, I tried to make my changes in my Panel Three CSS with the "important" tag. Unfortunatly, after many attempts and Google searches, I could not change every color in the gradient. I then decided to change my color scheme.

Overview

Overall, I really enjoyed working on this project. I felt more prepared from the lessons and working on Project One. I maintained my confidence that I could produce something that I could be proud of. When things took a turn during my process, I knew I would be able to figure it out, and I did. I'm excited to continue gaining coding experience.
